Gratitude for Good Deeds

Clay Café Dinner and Clay Café Brunch to Go

Our Father’s Day Clay Café Dinner (Sunday, June 15) was prepared by Chef Lisa (aka Suzy-Q) and included delicious baked chicken, pasta in red sauce, pasta con broccoli, green beans, and delectable desserts by Ellen.

Thank you Chef Lisa and Ellen for all of your hard work! Deacon Loretta Go and several parishioners attended to help and/or visit with our guests. Their presence was greatly appreciated! It was wonderful to gather with members of the community for food and fellowship.

Our Clay Café Brunch this month (Tuesday, June 17) featured “to-go” bags crafted by Carol Fette and packed and distributed by kids from our SoulFisher Ministries summer tutoring program. The kids did a fantastic job and their help was greatly appreciated!

Beautiful, Bountiful Grounds

A huge thank you to the planters and tenders of our outdoor spaces at St. Stephen’s and The Vine!

Please join me in thanking Emily Benner, Ruth Benner, Mike Sebright, and Patti Eaton for their dedicated work to beautify our outdoor space. Special thanks to Emily Benner and Mike Sebright for their work in planting and tending our vegetable gardens.

A visitor to our building who hadn’t been here in quite a few years commented to me last week that you can tell what an amazing place St. Stephen’s still is by the way that the parishioners are taking care of the building and grounds.

If you would like to volunteer for this important ministry please contact Emily Benner.
