I am pleased to announce a new ministry at St. Stephen’s: the Coffee Hour Host ministry! Those who signed up for this new ministry are dedicated to ensuring delicious treats await you and our guests at the end of each 10 a.m. Sunday worship service throughout the year! If you were unable to commit to be a coffee hour host, but would like to support this ministry at St. Stephen’s, there are two other ways you can help:
1) We know that some of you may prefer to bring a treat to share occasionally, when you end up having time to make something, or run to the store to purchase something. Please know you can still do that on any Sunday you wish and it will gladly be added to the table. There is no such thing as too many goodies at St. Stephen’s Coffee Hour!
2) Another way you can help is to provide some shelf-stable goodies that do not need to be used immediately and can be used on any Sunday, such as granola bars, cereal bars, packaged cookies, chips, snacks, etc. These items will be used to fill in or when a coffee hour host cannot attend last minute, or when we have a fifth Sunday as we do in March, May, August, and November this year!
Below you will find a list of the people signed up for the Coffee Hour Host ministry and the dates they will be bringing their goodies:
If you are a Coffee Hour Host and your schedule changes or you are unable to bring your treats on the Sunday you signed up for, please attempt to trade with someone ahead of time. If you are unable to trade with someone, please call Susan Fazio and she will do her best to ensure your date is covered.
Thanks to everyone who signed up to be a part of this ministry and to everyone who brings goodies to coffee hour! It is just one more way to help us to welcome and connect with people at St. Stephen’s!
