Gun violence touches every community, every family, and every person of faith.
Every year, hundreds of kids and teens find unsecured guns and unintentionally shoot themselves or others.
The gun suicide rate in the United States is nearly 12x that of our peer nations.

Saturday, June 6: Guns to Gardens
8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church
St. Stephen’s is pleased to host a regional, ecumenical Guns to Gardens Recycling event. Gun owners are invited surrender their unloaded guns in this drive-through event. The guns will be turned into garden tools and garden sculptures. These events have been held throughout the country since 2012, offering a healing, spiritual, and practical service.
St. Stephen’s volunteers are needed to pass out coffee and donuts to participants. Let Pastor Teresa know if you want to volunteer to provide/acquire the coffee and donuts and/or hand them out. Participants will also be invited to park and come in for the Food Pantry, if they wish to do so.
Sunday, June 7: Wear Orange Sunday
