The Palm Sunday Window

This window was given in memory of Charles W. Owen.

This window traces the journey Jesus made to the Holy City. “And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; other cut down branches and strawed them in the way…

” and cried Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.” The garments, branches and the celebrating people are seen here as well as a “thief” who is thrown out of the temple. Notice the temple is placed on Jesus’ heart.

This window depicts Jesus traveling upward to represent the struggle he faced and overcame.
